The beatitudes consist of the Christlike attributes that Jesus gave to us as a means of being Blessed by him when we took on his perfect traits. He showed us the righteous traits that would bring personal peace and contentment, in a world full of rebellious and wicked people.

We live in a society so far from the Christian Graces, that even Christians themselves, feel as if they are foreign principles to them.

We know we are far from the perfect soundness, that the Lord taught in the sermon on the mount, when we see the uncivilized society we live in, people that are so steeped in wickedness.

Its time for Christians, to come up to the high moral standards of living set before them throughout the Bible, and taught to them by Jesus Christ, on the Sermon on the Mount.

Philippians 1: 10-11

(10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

(11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
