Jesus Abundant Hope

                                                                                  God's Plan Of Salvation

There are seven facts revealed in God's plan of salvation, and as you study them, keep in mind that this is God's plan--not man's,

not religion's--it is God's, and there is no other plan that can save your lost soul and make you a child of God.

"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand before you whole."

"This was the stone that was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner."

" Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."  Acts 4:10-12

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." John 20:31

"All roads may lead to Rome," as an old saying goes, but all religions do not lead to God and salvation. There is only one way, and

that is God's way; and God's way is a person, and that person is His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

         "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."  John 14:6

God's salvation is threefold:

First, Christ appeared on this earth to save you from the penalty of sin, by putting away your sin, by the sacrifice of Himself on the Cross.

"Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father."   Galatians 1:4

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."   Hebrews 9:28

Second, He appeared in heaven, in the presence of God, after His resurrection, to save you from the power of sin.

"For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us."   Hebrews 9:24

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world."  I John 2:1-2

Third, He will appear again on this earth, the second time, as "Lord of Lords and King of Kings" to save you from the power and very presence of sin.

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."   Hebrews 9:28

This is complete salvation, and it is yours by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour.

      The Seven Facts Of Salvation

Now it's time, to come to the seven facts of salvation with a receptive heart, that God may bring salvation to your soul.

If you are already a Christian, you can brush up on the salvation scriptures and important points to make while witnessing,

to a sinner about Jesus Christ.

• It is a fact that God loves you

" For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  John 3:18

• It is a fact that you are a sinner

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."   Romans 3:23

• It is a fact that you are now dead in sin

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."   Romans 6:23

• It is a fact that Christ died for you

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."

"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die."

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5: 6-8

• It is a fact that you can be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

" And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

Acts 16:30-31

• It is a fact that you can be saved and know it

"He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself, he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave his Son."

"And this is the record, that God hath given unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."

"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

I John 5:10 -13

• It is a fact that after accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord you are now a child of God and you are to obey him.

" And Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."   Acts 5:29
